Residential and Commercial Systems
|

Whether you're building a new home or considering a
new heating and cooling system for your present one,
consider the economical and environmental advantages
of GeoExchange.
These systems offer benefits to consumers, utilities and
the environment. Not to mention, no noisy furnace, no
fuel lines in your home and no worries about fumes or
carbon monoxide.
Geothermal heating and cooling systems are the most
energy efficient, environmentally clean and cost-effective
systems available. By heating and cooling with
geothermal you can enjoy a significant savings of
25-50% annually compared with traditional systems.
The process.....
After you have made the decision to install a Geothermal Heat
Pump System, you will consult with a Heating and Air
Conditioning Contractor. They will determine the heating and
cooling load requirements for your project. This will be based
on the size, design and the construction of your home or
building. This is a very important step in the design and cost
of your system.
Our part.....
We are the Drilling and Loop Installation Contractors. The
entire exterior portion of the system is known as the "ground
loop". The "ground loop" consists of several lengths of plastic
pipe, typically installed in either horizontal trenches or vertical
holes. Horizontal systems require a larger amount of land area
compared to a vertical system. Whether drilling holes or
excavating trenches, we will layout several hundred feet of pipe
(50 year warranty), complete the pipe with supply and return
lines that run into the structure. Next we fill the pipes with
water and a non-toxic anti-freeze solution that circulates
through the pipes absorbing heat from the earth's warm
temperature. We then connect the pipes to the interior units
installed by the HVAC Contractor. You are now ready to enjoy
the comforts of the eco-friendly, cost efficient, quiet
geothermal system.
